First off this isn't your run of the mill resort course--bring your "A" game and plenty of balls. Course is flat--but you better put it in the fairway because there is NO rough--either in the fairway or in the mangrove swamps--don't even think to look for your ball! The course isn't that long from the white tees 6200 yds. or so but accuracy is at a premium on all shots--no forgiveness except on one or two holes (17 & 18). Great club house--food is included with your golf rate as are drinks--decent driving range and there were only a few groups playing on the course when I was there. Course was in very good shape--bring your own balls as they are very expensive to buy in Mexico--I lost six balls the first time I played the course--seven balls lost a few days later--one tough course. Moon Palace courses were much more playable and fun--also in great shape.
