Course Review and Comments
First time I've played the course in years. The new greens are nice. Even though the course gets lots of play, the greens putted perfectly.
Fairway conditions were very nice...had great lies throughout the round.
Found my way into two bunkers during the round (same hole!) and the sand was nice, fluffy and predictable.
The course is no slouch and demands accurate play. I don't feel that you have to be as long as before the slight changes were made but the same character was maintained.
The practice facility is a gem. I'll be spending a great deal more time there. Reasonable range ball fees and great turf to hit from. Very nice chipping and sand play green as well as a great putting green. Great place to go and work on things. Will most likely be checking in with them for a lesson package soon.
The only negative comments that I have was that it was 90+ degrees the day we played and there was no drinking water available on the course. The drink machines at both the practice facility and on the course were not working. For the $60 we each spent, this was an aggravation.
