Course Review and Comments
Just returned from the Rose Hall Hilton after a week of super golf. Cinnamon hill is absolutly beautiful!! You play the first 4 holes out and back to the club house and then head down to the sea for 3 beautiful holes. A Par 3 where the ocean is the hazard. #5, a long par 4 leads down to the sea. The back nine winds it's way back up into the moutains. One gorgeous vista after another and the jungle is all around you. Manicured and flowering trees everywhere. i believe 14 is the fairway where Johnny Cash's old house is. That is the only structure on the couse.
Price is 119.00 from 7-10am, 99.00 from 10am-2 pm, and after 2 pm it is 79.00 Bring your clubs, rentals are 55.00 a round. Even if you have to pay for extra baggage on the flight you will want your own clubs.Count on paying 175.00 a round at White Witch or Half Moon, the other 2 courses in the area. Neither one of them goes down to the water. Nice pro shop pricey like everything on the island(sleeve of NXTs was 14.00) and the resturant is excellent. 5 star! Dinner only. You have to take a caddie and I'm glad we did. We had Al Jermain for 3 rounds and he was essential for finding balls and reading greens. we gave him a 20.00 tip per man per round. He was worth every penny.Everyone was just so fricking nice to us. we palyed 3 days and was worth every penny. LPGA has a tournenment there every year. We left our clubs at the caddie shack and you can walk to the course from the hotel. Don't bother with the concierge in the hotel just walk up to the course. Truly a great course ffor the right price. BEAUTIFUL!!
