Course Review and Comments
I miss this practice course. I moved to Connecticut in 2001, and have not found a 9 hole course that is as pristine and well managed as Ironwood 9. I used to play 2-3 times a week there. Even when there were greens under repair, the course played sweet. A lot of golfers would never consider a par 29 9 hole to be a good practice course, but they should consider Ironwood. Narrow fairways and large greens put a premium on concentration and reward. The most important experiance to me, was the staff. Everyone from the Starter Office, concessions, to the greens crew and marshells, were not only helpfull, but became family to me. Guys and "Gal", I miss you very much. Floyd and Tony, I especially miss you two.

This is a must for anyone. The course is challenging with water hazards, narrow fairways and bunkers guarding all the greens. I am a 9 handicap and find myself here often to work on accuracy and iro
