Course Review and Comments
Top notch. This is the best course I have played on the East Coast. The Virginia 2009 Amateurs is being played there. Considering the very modest initiation fee, it is a real bargain when compair to other country clubs in the state with far weaker courses.Ratings

| Course Design Comments | This course design updated and course completely renovated with additional features. I have played many courses worldwide and find this one of the best as far as challenging, yet fair course. Par three course is nationally recognized and is a rare treasure for practicing one's short game and family play. There is also a full driving range, practice bunker area and putting green. |

| Course Facilities Comments | Country club has the 18 hole course, par three, full driving range, bunker practice area and large putting green. There is also a club house with women's and men's locker room, grill room, full service dining room (also available for special events and weddings), pool, indoor and outdoor tennis facilities. Situated on the James River, it is as beautiful a view as it is a wonderful place to visit. |
