When I first played the course in early 2008 the course was immaculate. I decided to become a member because it was probably the best course I've played in the Birmingham area as far as difficulty, course management,etc..
New management took over in April of 2009 and now I'm ashamed to ask any of my buddy's to come play because the course is in such bad shape. The greens are terrible!!!!! The sand traps are mud traps and they are cutting trees everywhere which ruins the look of the course. I'm not an expert on golf couse but I would think with the bent grass greens they should have left the trees around the greens that were cut because the greens need to stay cool and now they get direct sunlight.
