Course Review and Comments
Played this course on Labor Day. Extremely busy which was expected. The person in the pro shop was very unpleasant. I asked about the flag placement and she looked at me like I had two heads. I suggested that the starter might know and she said I doubt it, he is new. We were a threesome and got stuck behind an extremely slow foursome. The group in front of them disappeared after the second hole. No Ranger to be found because they don't have one. We finally skipped a hole to get away from them. We were playing the red tees and realized that on 5 of the holes the red were moved forward to the family tees! The score card did not reflect that change so I could not enter my score on the ghin system. Not that I wanted to, when you have to wait a few minutes on each stroke it throws off everything. Very frustrating and I won't go back. Sarasota has too many good courses to bother with that one. On a positive note, the greens are beautiful as they have just replaced them. Too bad they can't replace their staff.

One of the best municipal courses I have played in the Tampa Bay region. The course seems to play longer than it reall is and the terrain is set up with many rolling hills and tricky approach shots.
