Course Review and Comments

If you want a slick resort-style course and/or have clients you need to impress, go to Saratoga National and pay the $150. If you want a great day of enjoyable golf with no hassles and beautiful views of the southern Adirondacks within 15 minutes of downtown Saratoga, go to Brookhaven.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments Great old school layout. Small greens, not too much sand, lots of hidden creeks and other water. The short par 4s will tempt you to go for it.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments Need to get water piped out on the fairways and get rid of the hoses and sprinklers. Greens are typically in nice shape. Fairways can get burned up in a hot summer.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments The staff at Brookhaven are the best! Where else can you get lunch and beers for 3 guys for less than $20?
