Course Review and Comments

Played here for the past 30+ years and always felt the 2-hour drive from St. Catharines, ON was well worth it. If I had to guess, I've played at least 75-100 rounds here and NEVER been disappointed with the layout, condition, staff, restaurant and/or accommodations. Like most everyone I've introduced to the course, we all love the design/layout and although most would prefer the back nine, I have absolutely no preference or favorite. The front nine is as magnificent as the back, but without the many, many pines, which do add beauty.
In my 45+ years of playing golf and having played at least 200 different courses (I have a scorecard from every place I have ever played) ... Bristol Harbor is in my "Top 5" and I'm not just saying that to earn brownie points -- I'm sincere! If I lived closer, I could see me playing this course every day without ever being bored or discouraged.

Can't wait til I return for 10 more days this coming April and May!

Price comments I've played here so often and at different times of the year that it's impossible to say how much I paid. I have, nevertheless, NEVER! NEVER! felt I was overcharged for the quality and condition of the course! On so many occasions, when asking to replay the same day, I've paid as much as a minimal ($10.00) cart fee or was told to "just go and enjoy yourself".

I inserted today's date as when I played, because I have to submit something in there to allow this to take. It's been 18 months at least since I played as I was injured for an entire golf season last year and could not play.

Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments the only reason I give 4 stars is because there have been many occasions when I've played that the weather was a determining factor in the condition of the course. This is in now way a reflection of any kind on the grounds crew staff.
