Course Review and Comments

Visually interesting course, full of turns and dips, tall hardwood trees and marsh grass. Palmer maximized the use of the outstanding natural scenery, there are some gorgeous holes which play along the wetlands adjacent the course. The course plays longer than it really is because you need to keep the ball in the fairways-thatchy rough, bushes and water lurk very near the first cut of rough. The greens were recently aerated when we played, and still had top dressing, but even in that condition rolled true and were suprisingly fast, so when in top shape must really be a challenge! This is a first rate facility, a really good course made an excellent value by very reasonable greens fee compared with other comparable courses.
