Course Review and Comments

I have played this course every year since it opened in 2001 and it has improved every year. I consider this course the best in the St. Cloud area when it comes to value. It can be difficult from the back tees (74.3, 149) but it has 5 tee boxes and the recreational golfer can play here too (Red Tees 70.9, 125). This is MIAC course and the Division III Schools play here. One of my favorite courses!

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments Joel Goldstrand's use of this property is esquisite. The combination of tree lined fairways, native grasses, and contour of the land gives this course a well justified high rating.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments The course was in great shape (2008) and the course has improved with each year. The greens rolled true and the fairways of bent grass were cut and well maintained.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments The service at Blackberry is very friendly. This course is family owned and the service reflects this. The employees are very hospitable and they smile when you arrive ( I hate going to a place where no one wants to be there), The staff must like it there because I see the same staff members year after year. I believe that happy employees work harder and are more courteous.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments I love the menu. I play a lot of golf at this club so I have had many of the menu items and have yet to have anything that I wouldn't recommend. The banquet area upstairs is wonderful and can hold up to 350 guests. The pro shop is well stocked. Great Clubhouse!
