Course Review and Comments
This course is located in beautiful Fowler, IN - the windmill capital of the world! Unfortunately the course doesn't meet the standards of beauty set forth by this amazing town. I came over from Illinois to play because of some friends of mine. The fairway's on most of the course of brown with dead grass patches. The greens are harder than the stone Mount Rushmore was carved from. I tried to just tap it in, and the ball ran like a Kenyan in the Boston Marathon. Hole numbers four and five were probably my favorites. Four is a vicious dog leg left (?) par four that you can easily be on in two if you play your cards right. Five is an over-the-water par three. I got my third ever hold-in-one! Hole nine was also very nice. It plays up towards the clubhouse. I may have broken a window of the neighboring house, but that bitch slept right through the whole thing. I even chipped out of her living room. Like I always say, "play it as it lies". At the end of the day, I had a solid round, got blacked out drunk, and met some new friends. I just wish the course wasn't such a god damn goat farm. GO Benton Central Windmills!!

The course is in excellent shape, better than most around. Greens recently seeded and filling in nicely. Avoid the trees for better scores.

Ok, so I started the day on the first tee. The course is a freakin' piece of shit! There are dead spots of grass on the fairways and the green looks like a moron has been trying to take care of it.

Not a private course. Larry isn't an intellectual. Just FYI, there are some pretty sweet spots on this course, like the 6th (a long par 5) and the 15th (another long par 5).

I agree with Larry. This course is one that seems to challenge me time after time. Although there are only 9 holes, the layout of the course is such that every time you play it is like playing a new

This course was designed and built in 1945 by William Diddle. It is wonderful layout that to this day is challenging.

Well, I played 9 holes today even though the course was completely froze over. Greens ran a little fast, due to the ice coverage. I hit a 5 wood from the front tees on 3 and almost had a birdie. Sh

So this course is not a private course. It isn't even a public course. They are closed pretty much every day of the week, and the only real thing to do there is get drunk in the clubhouse with Ron a
