Course Review and Comments
I'm no Tiger or Phil, but I still enjoy the game non-the-less. While Banner certainly isn't one of the best courses out there, it certainly is one of the best courses for the price. I can drive ~15 minutes and pay two, three or even five times more than what I pay for a round at Banner. In this economy, I would rather sacrifice a little in quality and get more quantity of golf. Banner is a great choice for good golf at a great price.

Over the last few years this course has been getting better and better. Hopefully these improvments keep moving forward to make this course everything it could be.

Paying $42.00 for 18 holes with a cart is just too bad. You are far better off paying $10.00 to $15.00 more and going to one of the three fine courses up in Portland. At $42.00, Banner will do nothi

I have been golfing for the last 7-8 years and have become addicted to this game. I try to travel to a bunch of courses around CT, but have found one of the best values at Banner Country Club. While

A good bargain golf course. For $24 (including a cart) and 9 holes, you can't expect Augusta. If you are just starting out or you want a good quiet course to play 18, this is a great course.

This was one of the better golf resorts i have played in connecticut, the fairways were lusious. I believe they were a mix of kentucky blue grass, rye, and zoysia. If i were to recommend this gorgeous

Course condition is very poor. If you like crabgrass golf....this is the place. The tee boxes are deplorable and the fairways are largely crabgrass, there is little good grass or a decent lie to be f

The tee boxes were the worse tee boxes of any golf course I have ever played. 99.9% Crab grass mounds. It's really too bad as they have made some nice strides on the clubhouse and the greens were not

This place is one of the biggest dumps in the history of golf. As a matter of fact when I drove up I said to my friend This must be the town town dump
the greens were good for cows to graze
