Course Review and Comments
Although short Akaroa is a fantastic little golf course. Sadly the lack of space does not allow for including any par 5s and many of the par 4s are short. But this is compensated very much by very tough rough, severe sloping fairways and very subtle but big breaks on the greens. When the wind is blowing you better have your A game with you.
Very friendly members.
What the club really needs I guess is money and lots of it but at the same time a large part of its attraction is its character - just the way it is.
I have played the course over a dozen times
