Course Review and Comments
A traditional, original, unreconstructed links course, with sheep, horses and cattle grazing on the course, and fences around the greens to keep the animals off the putting surfaces. "Drive over the cows, just left of the horses, then keep right of the sheep. And please close the gate when you leave the green". Nine holes, with alternative tee boxes to make 18. Spectacular views over Clew Bay, and totally exposed to the wind. Hang on to the trolley, on a windy day. The Club "house" is a caravan, but it has hot water...but there is a big hotel, overlooking the course, if you need to take refuge. A real taste of original golf.
