Course Review and Comments
This is a very pleasant and relaxing place to work on your par 3 tee-offs, approach shots or simply to play for fun with your family / partner on your vacation in western Florida. There are stunning water views from every one
of the 9 holes and on a good day you may even catch sight of a wild dolphin or two swimming in the marina.
The greens and fairways are kept in excellent condition, even with heavy
rain they have remarkable drainage systems. The holes range from about 90 to 140 yards with gentle slopes, sand traps, water obstacles and natural palm trees.
In April '03 I paid $7 green fees ($9 for 18 holes) which included the use of a pull-cart for my clubs. A small set of about five clubs of your choice is available for rent for a nominal fee.
I have played golf at a variety of par 3 courses around the country but I have never received better value for my money than at the Treasure Island Golf Center. Whatever your handicap, whether you are a serious golfer or merely wish to stroll leisurely around the beautiful park, this course is sure to provide a memorable experience.
