Sunny day walk
Ok greens were really good and fast, pathways rugged and not well laid out. Rest of the course difficult to follow through lack of signs if you have never played it before. Difficult to see the flags so had no idea which direction to hit. Some tricky holes especially on back nine. Driving range was poor as end stalls were on a slope and not level.
It was ok but could be much better.
Good fun
Overall it was a fun few hours. Very open course, a lot of shouting for wayward shots and two slow groups in front were the only downsides but the sun was out and we enjoyed it.
Fun Little Course
2nd time playing here, course and greens are in top shape. Hats off to the greenkeeprs staff.
Unfortunately both times have been rather slow, especially considering the length of course. (Short)
Would be nice to see the marshall a little more active to make sure play moves. In this instance it took us 2hrs 40 mins to play 9 holes as a 2 ball.
We had to walk off unfortunately. I've asked the club for a 50% discount, still awaiting some feedback from them.
Course looking good
Looks like they have stepped up their game on looking after this course, pace a bit too slow but Marshall’s on hand to get things moving
Great experience
We played yesterday could not believe the greens it was like playing on carpets no blemishes or signs of anything
I gave a 4 for the fairways as thay were parched but that did hamper the day
Great keep it up
Nice little course
What it lacks in length, at around 5000 yards, it makes up for in character with a succession of nicely designed challenging holes.
It's a great starter course especially if you aren't the longest off the tee.
Very good range with trackman (or similar) technology.
Potential - but leave the putter at home.
Some tricky holes out there, lots of mounds protecting greens and enough trouble to keep you honest even with the short yardage.
Really firm out there this weekend, concrete in places.
Very good place to dial in the irons
Greens were sadly in pretty bad shape. Plenty of grass, fairway length almost.
In need of rolling and some tlc. 👌🏽
They want 45 quid plus In the morning slots and for the same money you can get on much better places.
But later in the day the prices get right down and it gets busy.
my 4 ball let 4 or 5 solo and 2 balls through and still got done in less than 3 and half hours.
Perfect afternoon knock about.
Sunbury
The course was extremely busy due to it being a bank holiday but the round was still a decent pace and the staff were very welcoming
Excellent course
A great course to play. Distances are normal, It is not a long as other courses in the area.
Sunbury
A good course, fairly priced. Fairly flat with good drainage. Toilets were in poor condition.
Not very good
On too many of the holes you don’t know what direction to go or what club to hit because you can’t see the pin and there’s no guides. The tee boxes aren’t flat which makes hitting your tee shot feel like you’re on a slope. It’s very poorly signposted too. Didn’t enjoy at all
£13 just about right
Course needs signage. Hole numbers by tees etc and more directions.
Course map printed on scorecard like others would help first timers.
Other groups around us struggling on direction of next hole too at times.
First and final 3 fairways in horrible condition.
No reason why couldn't be nice little course if clear signs and maintained better, as the potential is there.
Good for getting thru 18 decent holes quickly as much less walking. Quite tight though so still challenging.
Would entertain again if not quite so rough
Unpretentious good golf
This is an inexpensive unpretentious course for the golfer looking to play a decent 18 course without having to worry about wearing knee length white socks.
Friendly, enjoyable golf on a course that is in great condition a gives you a fair test .
Cramped and awkward
I was surprised that it cost over £140 pounds for a 4 ball with two buggies. Not impressed with the course which I found cramped and difficult to play. Would not play there again if I had the choice.
Good afternoon
Had a good leisurely round - only slight issue was sand on greens but overall very enjoyable
