Played before

Today this course closes. First played it 30 years ago when it was superb. Have played it often since. (Not often enough)
I will play today for the final time.

Nice course but needs better signage.

Heard this place was closing. WHY?
All it needs are a few ground staff.
Historic course sold for what?
So good was this course that I'm going back for one final round before it closes at the end of this month, to imagine what it was like it's heyday.

Course was ok

The course was fine. Badly signed in places but the dog walkers were the biggest off put

Decent enough

Decent course, good conditions on greens and fairways, course layout a little odd, a bit disappointing after the big build up they give on their website. Quite a few dog walkers but all respectful when treated with respect. Didn't stop in the clubhouse but the gent behind the counter was very polite when picking up the card. Course would benefit from a few ball washers and bins. Take care not to over club on the 1st and 11th as there are cars parked quite close to the greens.
