Poorly kept

Recently undergone huge investment however every penny has gone to the clubhouse and the driving range. Course hasn’t been touched in years. Constantly boggy and greens unplayable. Not worth the ridiculous price charged to play as a visitor. Back 9 is boring, play the same hole 4 times, sad to see so much money go into a club and £0 of it go to re designing the boring, poorly kept course.

Friendly staff, absolutely awful course

We only played the course as a practice round for a forthcoming event. Seeing the pictures & online reviews on their website, as well as the £35 per person per round, we thought the course would be of a decent pay & play quality; unfortunately however while this is not the worst course I've ever played it is certainly in the top 10!

The only half decent thing about the course was that the greens were in good condition, running true & a reasonable speed, if it wasn't for that it would have been top 5 as the tees & fairways were awful.

Many of the tees were so uneven that invariably you were teeing the ball up either above or below your feet, then you had the fairways which were almost as long as the first cut!

If it wasn't for the fact that I have already paid to play in cahrity event at this course, I would never play this course again & certainly not for £35. In my opinion it's not even worth £18!!

No Maple Leaf

Played this course after reading some decent reviews, which didn’t live up to the reality. The course has been shoehorned into a tiny space making the first few holes especially some of the narrowest fairways I’ve ever played. Even off whites many holes are super short and very flat and repetitive. Signposting is awful with walkways between holes turning the whole experience into a confusing patchwork quilt of holes. There are so many better courses than this in Surrey, definitely won’t be playing here again.

Great Surprise

Played Horton Park yesterday with two friends (+12 and +21) and we were all pleasantly surprised. The images available on the club site dont do the course justice. This isnt the most difficult course out there, but its really nice with an emphasis on being accurate without murdering your score card if you go off a little. Fun to play and we will all be back.
