Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club

Despite playing off some mats and one temporary green, the course was in very good condition and the sun managed to shine. The fairways are quite a distinct feature on this course and add to the challenge and fun of playing here. Very friendly reception in the pro shop and good selection of beers in the bar after a vert satisfying round of golf.

Never fail to enjoy the golf here. The course is a challenge to all golfer standards and some really testing greens as well. Beautiful scenery all the way around and some great views.
Course considering the weather is in tip top condition and we always love to play it.
Plenty on the course today but the round flowed at a great pace and no hold ups at all.
Tees were most temporary tees which is understandable at this time of year and the weather we have had lately. All greens were in play surprisingly again considering the poor weather.
A must play course for anyone. Get it booked guys

Lovely golf course. The only small thing was the fairways could be cut a bit tighter, but this is really a very small thing, great value

Challenging course especially the undulating fairways and long par 3's. Very helpful and courteous staff throughout. Good food at very reasonable price. Good practice facilities. Overall a great day out

This was our second game their and proved as enjoyable as the first. Lovely course with good layout and variety of holes. Greens were ok for the time of year.
Great value for money, would recommend to anyone.

Arrived, friendly staff in pro shop....as were staff in bar area. First time playing this course. Rained for first 9 holes, and felt had to take care in areas that appeared slippy, because there was no grass in large areas, due to the hot summer that had burnt the fairways......grass needs to recover. Greens were nice, and run true, with some tricky contours on some of the greens. Struggled at times to establish if on the fairway or edge of rough.....we were only playing a friendly game, so didn't mean too much.
Quirky in places which added character to holes and course........the humps in the fairways,, from mining, I think, are certainly different. A couple of good drives ended up on downhill lies, so some fairways you are hands of the gods.
Don't be too clever on the 17th, or you may ruin a good round and find the pond......send the drive a bit right. The last hole was disappointing, probably the worst hole on the course. Would I recommend playing there...yes definitely. Played for £18, about midday. Course quite as "vets" had a match a bit later and rain probably put a few off.
Looking forward to revisit at end of month, with our golf society. If you haven't played before, a course planner or golf watch may help, as you will not see hidden dips before some of the greens

Really enjoyed my round despite having to wait quite a bit all round the course. Excellent condition despite very long dry spell and intriguing shapes and bumps on some fairways made this a really great experience. Very friendly members and nice atmosphere all round

Could not have been better great course in fantastic condition. We are 2 male players came up behind 2 groups of 4 ladies and they waved us through so etiquette was spot on

We were made very welcome by the Pro. The course was in very good condition particularly the greens. We teed off at 12:04 on a Thursday and paid £14 each for a three ball which is excellent value. Play was slow over last four holes due to a society playing ahead of us. Thoroughly recommended.
