Long Sutton Golf Club

I had heard not very encouraging reports of this course but in August it was firm and playable. Nice course for a social round at a reasonable price.

Long Sutton is an excellent course long but wide fairways and all in very good condition including the greens.

I really enjoyed this course. It has now all grown up since I played here fifteen years ago. Excellent layout and fairways, Pretty good greens. I will be back as soon as possible . Highly recommended.

Nice layout, had its challenges. Fairways still suffering a bit from the heat of the summer, which caused cracking, but this is improving and didn’t really cause a problem.

Course in great condition with recent rain making it nice & green. Overcast but the rain held off for us on the day until we finished.
Greens all in tip top condition, fairway cracks are all starting to close up.
Not many people on the course so nice & easy flow around.
And £9 for 18 holes - WOWSER! What a bargain

Have played the course several times now & just gets better every time.
Fairways & greens in great condition, the recent rain has certainly helped put some green back in to the fairways.
Greens had been treated but really wasn’t that noticeable at all & were true & fast.
The staff in pro shop are always friendly & helpful as were the girls in the bar after.
And for a bargain £9 for the round through golfnow, well what can i say!
Looking forward to next time.

As with most courses she is suffering a little from the hot weather, although the greens were in good shape.
Very welcoming and good facilities.
If in the area again would have no worries about playing another round.

The course is nice and you have to plot your way around it carefully due to the hazards and tree lined fairways. not many memorable holes but consistently good.

Food was excellent. Good value for money.

Long Sutton golf course is definately long, at least the way I played it. Some tricky fairways with water on both sides. Very enjoyable.

First time playing the course, went round as a one ball and honestly every time I got close to a two ball or above I was allowed to play through. Even the members were friendly, course was in superb condition although greens slightly dry but more down to the fact I played on the hottest day of the year so far! Had a pint in the clubhouse after and staff were really friendly. I'll definitely come back to play with some friends very soon, overall a long, challenging course and I was more than happy.

Course was busy I teed off about 30 minutes behind society, unfortunately society seemed to consist of a high proportion of hackers so pace of play slow, all bunkers where unplayable due to heavy rain previous and also poor quality/ quantity sand, fairways wide and in good condition, greens very soft re rain but also heavily marked with unrepaired pitch marks, so all in all not impressed with my first visit to this course, did not use club house facilities.

Great mornings golf,defo go back again,lovely food as well.
