Great course after lots of rain!

One of the few courses that remained open in early Jan 2024 after loads of rain / flooding in the area.

Impressed by how well it drained.
Greens in particularly were excellent and true.

Course is long enough for driver (and forgiving enough in places …)

Very very slow

The course is reasonable, but the greens have been over watered and so are very spongy (lovely and green though)
The biggest problem was the pace of play. We were waiting for 5-10 mins at every hole, which was a real shame as it was a lovely day

Fantastic day out

Brilliant little course that’s is maintained to a very high standard, found the staff very polite and helpful , the greens were near perfect and over all conditions were outstanding, not the most challenging course but a good fun days play! Only slight criticism is that the course has no clear hole numbers or directional signs, was a little tricky finding the next hole!

Gem of a course

We received a friendly welcome when signing in before some practice on the well maintained putting green. The course was in great condition and the greens were the best we have played on in the Oxfordshire area. Hole maps and clearly displayed hole signs are the only things that would improve the course. Highly reccommend it. It may be a par 69 but offers plenty of challenges for amateurs and the more experienced golfer.

Almost Empty

Teed off at midday as a 2 ball and barely anyone on the course.
Excellent fairways, bunkers with lots of sand and consistent greens, which could have been a bit faster for my liking.
A bit expensive for £31 but the speed of play helped.

Solid Short Course

Mapledurham is a slight step up from your average course. Always well maintained and with a varied layout it's 18 holes are rarely a tough walk. The front nine are reasonably challenging however the back starts off with a number of fairly simple, short par 4s which will help the scorecard before going back to more of a challenge by the 15th.

The club house contains the facilities you'd expect from a small leisure centre with good food and loads of space to rest afterwards and catch sport on tv.
