How can you complain for less than £20 a round?
Ok the course isn’t perfect and sometimes you can get caught behind some muppets who won’t let you play through for whatever reason they deem fit,, but…. For less than £20 a round how can anyone complain ??
It’s a good track with a bit of everything to test your game. I would highly recommend Priors !
Very nice
The course was very nice, great layout.
The weather was very cold, the greens was so hard you can bounce your ball on it, but was expected for this time of year. Will definitely be back in the summer
Great course👌🏻
Played here as a solo, Perfect course for all players. Easy layout and find your way around.
Staff were more than helpful! Perfect coffee to start the round and off I went. Few spots still wet but it's winter golf and every course is like still. Greens still very good such a good mix of holes.
A little wet a little slow
Nice course but certain areas were very wet and pace of play was slow
Slow play
Play was extremely slow lots of hanging around waiting on tees. No Marshall hurrying slow play. Course etc very good, well kept greens etc in very good condition would highly recommend it
Nice course
Nice course, good value . Some bunkers could do with some tlc, and signs to next tee overall good course
Priors
Excellent greens and fairways, but very deep and tricky bunkers
Course Review
Really nice course, well laid out and maintained.
The only downside was the bunkers, the ones I ended up in had little or no sand in.
Great course, average condition
Been playing Priors hall for 40 years, nice to see some improvements to some bunkers and surrounding areas. Tee boxes vary in standard as per, fairways weren’t cut. Greens we’re slow but have been spiked and over seeded. A wet March hasn’t helped no doubt. Great layout and always challenge.
Course unplayable
Turned up at course uploaded all our clubs and trolleys to be told by a green keeper that it was carry only and only 11 holes open proceeded to clubhouse reception to be told the same. Checked website before travelling no mention of either also no mention when booking very poor service
As it is now
Winter tees, lots of area roped off, everything else I would recommend to a friend, this time the play was very slow but the weather was good
Some interesting holes but quite scruffy
I’ve played here once before and again it was in the winter so I can’t say what it is like the rest of the year.
All of the holes were playing off temporary tee mats and most of these were difficult to get a tee in to. The greens were dry and fairly quick but a bit bobbly and many dead cert puts ended up drifting either side of the hole as a result. Only one or two wet patches, mainly on the back nine.
The course has a good variety of holes and some of these present a good challenge but it is quite scruffy between tee box and green although the fairways were cut quite short which gave a little bit of ball roll. The bunkers were dreadful and didn’t look like they had been raked for a long time. A lot of the bunkers had clearly had animals walking through them and the foot prints left behind meant that we agreed to rake the sand and place the ball so that we had a chance of playing a shot out.
We only paid £20 per player and over all it was just about ok for a friendly knock around a course in the winter sunshine.
Lots of work going on
Come the spring with the changes currently going on this will be a more challenging course.
