Lovely course. Only 9 holes available to play due to the wet conditions. But allowed to play 18 holes. Can’t wait to play in the summer and see all the hard work from the winter make the course even better.

Enjoyable Course to play

Played the Wensum course which had some holes closed due to being water logged, but still played 18 holes & throughly enjoyed the course. As a bonus everyone we met were very friendly.

bit of a joke

To start…very rude woman in the pro shop..course was in ok condition…was surprised to see groups of youths in hoodies and tracksuits trashing the course as they hacked there way round…also people drinking booze and throwing cans around …it seems they let anyone on this course.

Slightly let down

I know this course well as until recently I was a member at Wensum. I received the usual cheerful and friendly greeting from Nick in the pro shop. Despite the very wet weather recently, the course was in very good condition. However, it was only when I arrived at the pro shop did I learn that 4 of the holes were closed. Whilst I understand this is good practice for the club in order to prevent damage, it would have been nice to know at the time of booking that the whole course was not playable (which it has been for some time) Had I known this, I would have played a full round elsewhere. I’m not sure if this is a Golf Now issue or the club itself but somewhat took the shine off an otherwise enjoyable day.

Great value for money, but...

... we had to cut the round short by 5 holes due to slow play. At one point, three groups all on the same 11th tee. The price of a warm autumn afternoon.

Nice course

Played it a few times now, nothing wrong with the course, but once you have completed the first 9 holes, you are waiting on every hole until you finish. It's because the back 9 are very difficult with so many water hazards it simply takes so long.

Excellent Course

Very good course, we played the Wensum a great lay out & excellent value for money we paid.
After golf we decided to stay and have a meal & drinks, the staff, particularly Adam were very accommodating, the food was delicious & the price of the beer very reasonable.
We would recommend to take a visit & play a lovely course.
We will definitely be returning.

Golf day

Good course good layout and in decent condition in present weather conditions
Driving range needs tidying up and although it didn’t spoil the round being stuck behind a ladies match did make the round incredibly long
Club house is good and pro shop was fine

Excellent Winter conditions

For mid February the course was in excellent condition. Obviously preferred lies helps but the greens were running very well
Have played a number of courses locally this winter and this compares very favourably.
Pace of play was good and with a 1pm tee we still got in before dark.
Both Valley and Wensum courses worth playing.

Very good

Great course. They are in the process of re developing some of the holes however it hasn't really taken away from the enjoyment and the course is well maintained. Some challenging holes especially on the back 9vwith plenty of water to try and stay away from.
Bar very good and reasonably priced
Great value for money when on hot deal.
