Great round

Weather dry, ground somewhat squidgy in places but the greens were 9/10. Given the recent rainfall the course is in great condition. A testament to the club staff.
Can't wait to play here again, a very good day out.
The 19th is very welcoming at this time of year, and I can recommend the full English.

Excellent price for a great course and facilities. Very slow play meant that we were unable to complete our round.

Good course but …..

A thoroughly good course spoilt by slow members playing in front of us. We were ready early and the fairway was clear. We also had a buggy.
I returned to the pro shop to ask if there were players ready to tee off in front of us. Two in the pro shop advised they were awaiting a third.
They tee’d off on time. We could have tee’d off early.

We played up to them on every hole and had to wait 18 times.

As a three ball they could have let us thru but they chose not to. The course was very busy and they were often held up too. But they definitely seemed unconcerned by the slow play and definitely took their time … especially around the greens.

The round took more than 4 hours 30 mins. If they’d let us tee of in front of them I’m pretty sure we’d have been finished in regulation.

The fact that we were paired with another two ball on the day made no real difference to our pace of play.

It was frustrating

Too slow

Nice course but so slow....5 hour round and 10 mins on each tee is too long.

Clearly overbooked. Staff were also a bit off, we couldnt go off earlier as it was fully booked...even though the player in front hadn't turned up? After 3 holes the single player in a buggy was pushing up on us and we let go through....he said the staff told him to push through to get his slot back!! Didnt make any difference as it was so slow and the single guy then drove off and started playing random holes in frustration.

Third time I have played and each time it is the same story.

Sadly wont play again, shame as the course is decent....not worth the time, however cost was low.

Get what you pay for!

Beautiful course

We had been touring in the area in a Motorhome and a friend recommended this course as they have extended the car park recently and easily accommodated a large Motorhome.
The staff in the proshop were friendly and helpful. The practice facilities were excellent with a nice parting, green chipping, green and nets.
Hey, we found the course in excellent condition it was challenging for a mid handicap golfer but also accessible for a high handicap golfer.
We would not hesitate to return for another round

Great course let down by staff

Really enjoyed the course some really great hole especially the oar 3’s . Let down by the man working in the pro shop ,seemed uninterested about my questions about the course . I wanted to buy a few things but when I went to the desk he wasn’t there , waited a bit but my tee time was close so just had to leave . A real shame !!

Long but enjoyable 18

Having utilized a few of the deals now for Bawburgh I must say that's it's one of not the best value course near Norwich.

Nice well presented course. Wide fearways and a a fair few long par 5s (a couple over 500 yards) and plenty of long Par 3 and 4#.

Encourages you to get the woods out of the bag! Greens run really well, fast greens.

The only think missing is a driving range, but the nearby family golf center caters for this. There are also nets and a small practice green close to the first tee, to help dust off the cobwebs if needed.
