Good course, slow play
Course is nice, just so slow when stuck behind 4 ball that wouldn’t let us pass through. Greens were great. Very quick!
More Crow damage than playable fairway on some holes
I have played this course many times over the years and this is the worse condition I have ever seen it in. The front nine is in the worse condition due to the massive amount of crow damage this year. This has made a poor situation worse as previous years damage has been very poorly repaired - so now you have a really poor quality fairway on some holes.
It is a shame as the course has a great layout and if properly maintained could be a real cracker.
SLOW !!!!
Course was in poor condition and this had to be the slowest round of golf I’ve ever played , myself and my playing partner got so fed up of the constant wait of two groups waiting on tee times that we walked off after 10 ,holes , took us over 3 hrs to play !!!!
Good course -cracking greens
Played in June and weather was perfect. Course was in excellent condition. Long course and tough to complete fourball in 4 hours as if wayward not easy to find ball. Having said that it is fairly open course.
Good value but not perfect
Third time playing here and course was generally in good nick, although greens were beyond firm - hard and lumpy from sanding and hollow tining. Needs some rain to soften them up. Pace of play on a Saturday was far too slow to start with but sped up as round went on. Overall, a fine course to have in the area - just needs a little work on the greens as slightly better management of tee times.
Good course to play
Had an enjoyable round here.Liked the course layout and course condition was excellent.Slow play but inevitable now clocks have changed.Members were helpful and friendly .
