Course review

We found out before playing that there was only 16 holes open 6 temps you couldn’t play of the fairway so move it to the rough or option purchase mat for £9.
As I said to the pro if I knew that the above before hand I would have cancelled my tee time.
Taken all the above into consideration I feel it’s only right that Golf Now reimburse us as this is a course that shouldn’t been open

Awful condition, not really playable unless for a practice know around

Played 29th September. The first 6 greens were unplayable. Mixture of sand and mud. Areas around the greens and tee areas were in very poor condition and seems unkept. Not sure what's been going on here as there are some excellent reviews. Some of the middle holes have slightly better greens and by that I mean they have grass, and were actually worth putting out on, albeit but very uneven and bobbly. We then closed with the last few holes which were back to the 90% sand and unplayable. We have a lot of choice for courses in this price range in our area and this has been by far the worst golf experience I have had for a while. Very disappointed.

Wigan twighlight

Excellent course lots of different holes . We got a hot deal at 4 pm . Which was basically half price . Full price at £40 for weekend was a bit expensive. Course is a bit tight and criss cross of holes in places so be aware of errant sliced golf balls !! All in all a course worth playing if you can get a deal.

First time here

This was our first time playing this course, it was in really good condition a small complaint would be that the fairways and greens could do with a trim , not that they were that bad and more the words of a few members that we spoke to after we finished. It has some really great golf holes on the course and has a established front 9 and the new back 9 which opened in the 90s we were told being very different to the eye but still very good. All in all I would recommend the course and would visit again in the summer months

Very nice early season round.

Well established 9 holes with 9 newer holes, good condition for time of the year but a little surprised how damp it was in places after playing a few other local courses which were fairly dry.
Very good lay out and will be much nicer when everything starts growing.
Look forward to another visit later in the year.
