14th
Lovely course but the pace of play of the sindicate in front of us meant that our last two holes were played after the sun went down in twilight. One guy behind us walked off on the 8th and the 2 ball in front walked off on the 16th.
Great conditions for golf
No waiting, course in great condition, varied and challenging.
Cobtree manor review
Very nice course in good condition only problem was no cash taken for anything card only. But the course is in lovely condition
Cherry Lodge
An excellent round of golf in superb settings on an extremely well maintained course. All staff engaged with were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I look forward to returning again and would not hesitate in recommended this course to my friends and colleagues. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Tricky conditions at present.
Rough is long but fairways are lush. Greens are fast. Accuracy is premium as is knowing your distances for approach shots. Enjoy goingvto Cherry Lodge, always a warm welcome and midweek twilight is excellent value for money.
Nice course
Played this course on Easter Sunday and as it was quiet the club pro said we could tee off earlier than our set tee off time as it was very quiet.tees and greens good although fairways a little long.Very nice course and would definitely play again
Hidden Gem
Cherry lodge is only 15mins away from me but somehow stayed off my radar for years. Great course with lots of long par 5s. Greens were lovely and fast. Couldn't get any breakfast at 8.a.m however it was good Friday so this may not be the norm. Only problem is a booked tee time doesn't meN much as club members can just push in front, not impressed with that rule but great if your a member I suppose. Overall a great little find.
4 stars 🌟
Muddy
Managed to beat the rain as a society cancelled because the course too wet for buggies.
It was too wet for golf really . Maybe a may to September venue only. Truly sodden
Winter golf
One of the best condition courses I’ve played in Winter golf, very modern beautiful course and well kept
Highly recommend
Nice course, will return on a better day
We had a fourball game at Cherry Lodge at 12:10. The course was quiet so we had no holdups and no one following us. This may have been partly due to the heavy showers that kept rolling in. The course was in very good condition considering the hot, dry summer we have had. The greens were superb but very difficult if you get on the wrong side. This was the first time we had played Cherry Lodge and we will definitely return, hopefully in better weather.
Excellent course
Have played on this course twice recently, once in the wet and this week in glorious sunshine. Both times the course was in excellent condition and the greens were perfect, though a couple of them did show signs of being cut up by bikes or something.
