Great Fairways, Greens Need sorting

Love course. Great Fairways, Greens need a lot of work doing to them as they aren’t the best. Heard a few golfers having a moan. I’ve been a few times now and I’ve enjoyed the course. But it was the first time where the Greens have been really bad. Hopefully this will get sorted.

Course in poor condition.

Played this course on Wednesday with 8 others, it is without doubt the worse course we have played on this year . it has really suffered with lack of water ,all the greens were mainly sand and stubby grass patches and want reseeding or relaying . we will not be going there again anytime soon .

Walk in the Park

Played Hainsworth Park for the second time, the fairways were hard as was expected in the baking heat, the greens were still receptive and true. We had a bacon sandwich before going out and it was delicious. This is a very friendly golf club at a very respectable price. We will be back.

Good course

Good course. Very reasonably priced

The course calls for good course management and placing off the tee.

The bunkers are good with plenty of sand in.

The greens were running true.

I’d recommend.

Lovely

Nice course. Pro warned us on arrival that the greens were a bit parched because of the heat but we found only 2 that were nt great but still very playable.. The course is a bit tight in places where tees have been squeezed between greens and other tees causing a bit of a delay and a few shouts of 4. Would play again for what we paid. It was very busy though(a wednesday morning) so would like to play it in a quieter period. Maybe afternoon / evening

The course is great but…

Held consistently by 2 groups in front that had little to no course etiquette, they refused to acknowledge the slow pace and backed up everyone playing behind which ruined our game.. nearly 4hrs 45 to get around.. the course was great though

Not Bad

Arrived Half hour before Tee Time. . Had a practice putt . Practice greens not quite the same as on course greens . The course was in pretty good shape . Some greens were ok but majority pretty good . Tee boxes could do with a cut . Pace of play was excellent. . Could do with a few more directions to the “Next Hole” . Didn’t use the bar afterwards so couldn’t comment. I’d give it 7.5 out of 10 Overall

Hainsworth is a 'Go To' course for us.

Hainsworth is a 'Go To' course for us. We have always found the course to be in very good condition, it's reasonably priced too! We played as a two ball on Friday with no one in front or behind which made the whole experience more enjoyable.

Genuine gem

We were meant to be playing Flamborough on this day but there were no tee times available so we chose this course and we were delighted we did, perfect weather, perfect course and a perfect day out, You hear the phrase “hidden gem” too often when reading reviews but this course is a proper diamond and we have vowed to visit again in the near future, and that means over a 90 mins drive for me, and i’d do it every week, a lovely experience whichi heartily reccimmend!

Yorkshire Tour 2021

Well presented course. Too many trees over hanging fairways and greens, also lots of leaves etc on greens, and not a windy day. The bar was also closed at 18:00 which was very disappointing.
