Great course

Was first on the course and had a great round. Some walking required between each while but it was a lovely walk. The course was in great condition and the greens were smooth and reasonably fast. Initially play was slow due to the greens keepers raking the bunkers around greens but played through at my own pace.
The view on arrival was stunning.

Very impressed

I have played on this course since last year and have since seen it go from an average standard to now back to where it should be. The course is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly. With the weather over the last few weeks being very wet, the ground was not the best in places but I would say it will be great to play on over the summer. I look forward to returning soon.

Not Bad

Quite a few Temps on the day, quite muddy conditions in places on the back nine. The course is a bit "Up and Down" but had some interesting holes too. All in all it was really good value and i would play there again. Pro shop were great as were the kitchen staff

Terrible value

I played here on Sunday thd 19th of February and paid full price for 3 x players, £75.

There was no Tee boxes being used so driving off the floor or winter mats, there was 9 x winter greens which were shambolic and about 45 meters from the holes(before)
and then to top things off the 17th hole was closed....personally I would of felt aggrieved if I'd of paid £5 for the round, a total easter of time... I will never play at this course ever again...

Totally ripped off

Shocking

New Year’s Eve round of golf, booked well in advance, £120 for 4 people. On arrival we where notified the course was waterlogged, had temporary greens and two of the wholes where closed. Zero notification of course conditions or hole closures in the run up to our round. Zero refund, discount or rescheduling offer, only asked if we wanted to play or not. Several emails have been sent explaining our dissatisfaction with no response to date.

Very disappointing.

Temporary greens

We have played this course numerous times and always enjoy our round
This time we payed £25 to find at least 8 holes were on temporary greens…..not due to weather just for green maintenance.
There was no mention of this beforehand either on golfnow or in the pro shop.
The rest of the course was in very good condition which made the disappointment worse
£25 without being given the option or information.

A nice round

It was a lovely day for a round off golf. The problem with the golf course was that we had 2 days of heavy rain and some of the greens were water logged. Understand the golf course is doing something about the drainage which was bad in some areas. It is something that needs to be addressed as it did spoil the round.

Great Course! Get Yourself Here!

Played this course mid morning on a Sunday. Arrived an hour early to get some breakfast. There was a couple of comps on so it was very busy in the clubhouse but the staff were very friendly and explained the situation and they’d get our food out to us asap after the pre ordered comp got theirs. Came out in no time. Breakfast butties. Very nice!!

Checking in in the pro shop very easy and helpful man on the desk explaining how to get tot first tee as it’s about 4 minutes from the main clubhouse.

The course itself was brilliant! Layout was great not just boring up and down par 4s but dog legs and well placed trees to manoeuvre round. Most fairways are tree lines but wide enough for golfers of all ability I’d say. Tee shots are key on this course though because slightly out of position or wrong side of a fairway are you’ll be laying up.

Can’t believe this course was only 25 minutes from me and I’d never heard of it! Definitely will be going back again!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Good course

Good course, but if wear and tare due to the footfall on the course and the lack of rain we’ve had! Can vouch that this isn’t the case when we’ve had normal level of rainfalls as it is normal in brilliant condition!

Overall, great day and would definitely return

Lovely course

We really enjoyed our round here and the course is lovely to play.
We played on a Saturday afternoon and unfortunately there was a huge group of 64 infront of us so the pace of play was much slower than normal.
Overall though a thoroughly enjoyable round.
Given the lack of rainfall recently the greens were in fab condition.
