Despite all of the rain we've had locally in the day prior to our round, the course was in fantastic condition and all the holes were open, just the one tee box that you couldn't get to due to an overflown pond. Excellent day!
Good Course, Nice Area
Course has a few challenging holes but very enjoyable round. Good practice area and nice greens on the course. 9 Hole course that has 2 tee off points on each hole so fine to play 18 off. Shame it smells on the 4th and 5th holes in particular but nothing they can do about this so should not go against the course. Was very busy on the day of visit but was a good speed of play from players on the course. Will be back, particularly enjoyed the 3rd and 7th holes.
First 9 went round nice and quick but the back 9 we were stuck behind a bit of a train of pairs but who were all held up with what looked like a 5/6 ball group with 2 buggies, kids, dogs and all sorts. So that wasn't ideal and took an extra hour to play back 9
Otherwise always good fun round Parley!
Staff very disappointing
I've played here many times and spent lots of money getting good lessons with harry shaw the tattooed golf coach and really helped improve my game would liked to have joined as the prative course is great range is pretty good and foods ok and being one of the closest to home to with many of my friends who like to play here also yet after today i wont be returning not the courses fault as its well kept greens are good and even in the wet most of the fairways are walkable without getting to damp no but if it wasnt for the staff everytime are so rude and argumentative for no reason the mousey woman with glasses really has a problem everytime i come here and im not the only one who has noticed this when you get to the golf centre you would think you would be politely greeted no chance never have these woman even said hello i mean this is meant to be hospitality no? NO not in the slightest as i get outside front door i was sorting my bag and my golf partner went to sit on benches to wait for me as hes in his 70's and as hes walked past the door hes been approached by karen no.1 with 'where u goin whats ur tee time' not hi lads how r u good morning anything like that no so my parnters said what time is it? As im still sorting my bag as if she had come out and caught us trying to bunk on the course , so i said its booked on golf now for 10am then she "whats ur name" so ive walked in to confront karens rudeness for once i wasnt going to stand for this againas its happened not once not twice but 3 times in the past and we usually just ignore it but she really has no respect for her olders nor paying customers do not derserve her rude talk and so argumentative no ive not jad a problem with u then went to go on about a previous time when my partner thought he phoned up and booked when he didnt and both karens would not leave it that an old man may have got it wrong really they need to go on a hospitality course they think they can talk to u like its their naughty kids or something yes you can tell im wound up explaining this experience and guess how my golf played out not the best what surprise. So she something about having to book in beause the course could have been closed because of the rain well it was sunny and there were golfers already walking to the tee so clearly course was open and there was no need for it so now shes looks like shes about to cry for what reason when she caused me to stand up for myself for once now shes the victim for god sake woman get a grip so i walk off to tee no apology for her behaviour then Karen no.2 comes out can u wait here we go uve made her upset no love she was rude then wanted another argument and im not standing for it now im not wanting to play cos these karens dont know how to speak to men without having a superiority complex rant over all google reviews say the same even the coach says they can be abit funny sprey karens you are in the wrong jobs.
Quick 9
It was hot, but the course was in good condition considering. The greens were well kept and lush green.
Having not played for a while we didn't do the course justice.
Need another go at this course.
