Shocking

Booked the course for a 4 ball as part of a stag do. No tee times on their own website but available on golf now so I called the club to make sure it was open and we were told the course was all good and to feel free to book so we did. All looking good after checking until we get to the practice area where we walked across it and accidentally tore it up due to making feet marks just from walking across it. We hoped the practice area had just been wet but my god we were wrong. Tee boxes were all mats (which is fine for winter) but all were rock hard covered in stones. Fairways were swamped and we played 11/18 temporary greens. It’s all made worse by the fact I called the pro before playing and he said the course was all fine and when checking in there was still nothing mentioned by the pro. Quite frankly the worst experience I’ve ever had golfing.

Some parts of the fairways very boggy but hardly surprising considering the amount of rain we've had few temporary greens but still enjoyed the round pro shop has some good bargains in well worth a look Simon the pro is very helpful

Not as enjoyable as hoped, but OK

Course quite rough with narrow fairways and the rough at the edges is very rough. Slight veir either side = 10mins looking for your ball, which makes the course tiring and totally effects pace of play.
Water areas very smelly, ended up skipping these!
Plus course layout was not clear. Never played here before, greens not clearly marked with hole number on each and no directional help for next hole.
Also changing rooms, toilets in need of some tlc.
Standard-ish rate via GolfNow for 9 holes!

Challenging Course

Challenging course with plenty of elevation, greens were slightly slow due to a bit of water on surface but other than that great.

Overall a good day

Not a long Course but quite challenging. The views around course are beautiful and overall a great little golf course. The restaurant was a bit expensive, £11.40 for three coffees., but food was good quality.
