A magnificent Links course in excellent condition.
A fabulous experience I would recommend to any golfer visiting the area. The course was challenging for the first time visitor with a few blind holes and fairways cut in some strange directions but perhaps that’s just Links golf and I’m not that used to playing them. The condition of the course was excellent throughout our round, from tee box , fairways , bunkers and greens it would be hard to criticise, The scenery was spectacular throughout and We were lucky to play on a beautiful blue sky, light wind day,. I will definitely return and improve on this years score knowing more about the course layout, I can’t wait !
Fantastic
We played this course for the first time 5 days ago as part of a golf tour to Cornwall. Unable to play on Sunday afternoon due to dense fog, the lovely gent in the Pro shop allowed us to reschedule for a few days later. What a treat. The welcome was warm and genuine, the members were all very generous with course advice. The course was in outstanding condition and the pace of play was spot on. Great views from the course too. Can’t wait to play this gem of a course again
Fantastic course, with some good challenges
Really enjoyed this course. It has stunning views and some really challenging sections
Windy but fun
Last minute round of golf, horrible weather, but very enjoyable game. Course still in very good condition despite the weather. Would highly recommend playing here, not the easiest of courses, every hole can be a challenge. Will be back again soon to try it in better conditions
Excellent course, even during Winter period.
My friends and I had an excellent time playing at Mullion for the first time and were lucky with some perfect weather conditions on the day. Despite playing in a rainy February, the course was in superb condition with only one temporary green on the 14th hole. We played on the busiest day of the week, Wednesday, and most groups we met were very friendly and great to speak to. The views around Mullion are stunning and the course layout is good too with some standout holes. Afterwards in the bar, all the staff and members were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be returning at some point.
Excellent
What a find, the staff were very friendly and what a fab course. The views were brilliant and an excellent course.
Another seaside course
Part of a 2 day golf tour to West Cornwall. A lovely open course with great views but a bit more hilly than I was expecting. Fairways were wide and, apart from going out of bounds, you'd be unlucky not to find your wayward balls. A sensible layout but we did struggle to find the next tee a couple of times. Soapy water and clean towels at all the ball washing contraptions around the course was a nice touch too.
Great condition and the sun shone brightly!
Super friendly staff and members - you get a proper job Cornish welcome at Mullion GC. The greens are quick, plenty of tough shots and views to die for. It was my wife’s first proper round of golf and she loved it. This is a must play course for anyone who loves playing golf in its natural state and has legs like a mountain goat to get up one or two of the holes...
End of holiday game
Slow play spoilt a final game of golf before a long drive home from a weeks holiday. No excuses for a 4 hour 30 minutes game!
Holiday Round
Played on a hot summer’s day and must say a buggy is a must. Very hilly in parts. Course layout a little complicated especially on a couple of blind shots. Given the recent hot weather the course was in good condition. Staff in pro shop and club house very friendly.
Cornish Golf at its best
Great links test in a fantastic location. A course you can really play attacking golf at. Always a pleasure to play and friendly members to offer guidance for those unfamiliar with the layout. One of my favorites for sure.
My Birthday
We always play different courses, when away on holiday, i saw & read the reviews on Mullion Golf Course, we loved it, fantastic views, just stunning.
Course with a view.
Although not long by modern standards the course is quite hilly in places and the direction of the hole is not always clear (but there are marker posts). Firm and fast greens, and expect there to always at least be a gentle breeze which makes club selection a bit tricky. Some great views from parts of the course and well worth the visit. Buggies and electric trolleys available for hire from the pro shop.
All work and Play
Took the opportunity to play the course whilst a colleague and I were working in the area.
We both really enjoyed the course and the location, which was spectacularly beautiful.
We have both said that if we find ourselves in the area, be it for work or holiday, we will definitely try to play the course again.
Undulating Hilly Course with sea views
This course is not for me mainly because a lot of holes you hit blind off the tee, the fairways are narrow, there is no yardage on the tees which I found amazing, course signage is really poor (a couple of times we ended up on the wrong greens as we didn't know where to hit) and there is a lot of steep hills.
On the flip side the greens are well maintained, the course has a nice club house, the members were friendly and the Pro was great.
Would I play there again - No - If you do decide to play the course try and team up with some members if possible.
