poor value, poor condition

lets start off with the only positive of this course, the greens, they were in fantastic condition, no complaints at all here.

Negatives - poor conditon fairways lots of thin grass and bobbles

Tee Boxes, horriffic, not cut, not level hardly any grass on them.

Signage - not overly clear

paths - what are they?

Price - over priced

Sunningdale shouldnt be attaching there name with this course in its current condition. It has alot of work to do and it doesn tseem like it has been worked on for a while apart from the greens.
Personally I wont be returning on this course which had a weird layout to it as well, just odd. Wont be recommending to friends as well.

Overpriced

This course shouldnt be linked to the sunningdale name. Its over priced £35 to £40.

Fairways were poor.

Tee boxes battered and not cut great

Signage terrible.

Poor layout.

Bunkers poor.

The only good thing about the course were the greens which were excellent. But i would avoid, it was just weird!!!

The Golden Gem.

I Haven’t played many short courses, I’d say this is simply brilliant. Brilliant for your short game, some challenging and long par 3s, as well as some shorter par 4s. The layout is simply stunning. Played here for an annual ‘Christmas golf’ with my dad and two brothers, had a great time, staff were very friendly and the views of the old course that you see on the back 9 are just breathe-taking. 5stars all round for course layout, conditions and staff friendliness.
Oh and lovely house IPA in the bar afterwards!

Sunningdale but not as you know it.

Booking Sunningdale albeit the heath course and mostly par 3s, I was expecting immaculate tees and greens and although the greens were ok, the tees were shocking with a couple just left for dust.

I know the more illustrious neighbour course is probably 5 times the cost but I was still expecting a more picturesque, better laid out course. A few holes were were lovely but overall, I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Nice corse for your short game but to expensive in my opinion

Lovely little corse with some nice holes. tee box’s could use a bit of work and a few of the greens but overall course condition was good. £40 for what is essentially a par-3 course Ino is to much. And the club house shuts early so tee off early if you want a pint with your playing partner after.

Utterly charming

I last played here in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed my second visit- knowing your way around always helps. Par is 58, so 4 x par 4s and the rest par 3s. But a few of the par 3s would be 4s elsewhere. The terrain is nicely varied and there are many tight fairways with either trees or out-of-bounds to contend with. Plenty of troublesome heather. If you dare, you might get your driver out 4 or 5 times but it is an excellent work-out for the 3 wood and irons off the tee. Very friendly and helpful team in the snug clubhouse. Has a long history being previously named "Sunningdale Ladies" Wonderful names on the Honours Boards, particularly Captains. Apart from the ladies, ideal for young golfers (say 10-16 years-old) and for those who don't fancy 4 1/2 hours for a round fo golf (3 hours here).

Sunningdale Heath

Every aspect of this course was awful. The layout, Tees, Fairways which looked as though they were cut with scissors! The greens were indescribable.... every one was covered in a blue/green dye with strong chemical smell. This was probably the worst course I’ve ever played. I would suggest to the Committee they have a serious overhaul or sell the land to a housing developer.
