Renowned designer Pete Dye designed three championship golf courses at the Casa de Campo resort. Although Teeth of the Dog is the most well known, the Dye Fore Course is said to be its rival in level of challenge. The impressive layout is an astounding 7,740 yards, with elevation changes of over 300 feet. The dramatic heights throughout the golf course provide stunning views that stretch from the Dominican Mountains, the highest peaks in the Caribbean, to the Chavon River below. The course tumbles across seaside cliffs, offering endless views of the ocean as well. Like on Teeth of the Dog, Dye made the par 3s the most memorable. In addition to the many challenges built into the design, the prevailing winds, which can reach speeds of up to 40 mph, make the Dye Fore Course even trickier.
