Nestled in the foothills of Slavkovsky les, Kynzvart Golf Club is part of the historic chateau and park that belonged to Chancellor Metternich from 1821 to 1831. The golf course has a classic parkland layout that was designed to blend seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings. Mature trees frame many of the holes and water hazards come into play often. Beautiful views can be enjoyed throughout the golf course but the ninth hole has arguably the best scenery. From this hole, golfers get a view of the beautiful Renaissance castle that was built for Prince Metternich. The green is situated in front of the garden of the castle. In addition to the scenic and challenging golf course, Kynzvart is home to the largest driving range in the Czech Republic. The range has covered hitting bays and there are also pitching and putting greens.
