Description
Golf Club Frantiskovy Lazne is situated in the triangle of famous Czech spa towns in western Bohemia: Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne, and Frantiskovy Lazne. The landscape offers a mix of mature forests and grassy meadows that are part of the protected landscape of Halstrov. The layout has a variety of different holes and plenty of length with three par-5 holes that stretch past 550 yards. The rolling fairways tumble across the natural contours of the terrain and there are subtle but tricky undulations on the greens. In addition to the elevation changes, water is a prominent feature of the course. The sixth hole is one of the trickiest, requiring a carry over both a valley and water. Another large and daunting water hazard comes into play on the 10th hole.
