Description
In May 2001, this new 18-hole golf course had its opening day celebration in the Czech town of Cihelny, near Karlovy Vary. Designed by the Gary Player Design Company, this par 70 course offers golfers a Scottish style of play. There is also an 18-hole, par 44 pitch & putt course, a putting green, a covered practice range and numerous training bunkers, making Astoria Golf Resort Cihelny one of the largest training grounds in Central Europe. A new clubhouse was opened in 2003, the same year the club hosted the European Junior Championship.
