Horseshoe Bay Golf Club opened on July 4, 2000 to rave reviews. LPGA Hall of Famer's Nancy Lopez and Peggy Kirk Bell played in a special golf exhibition as part of the Grand Opening ceremonies.
Designed by Rick Robbins and Brian Lussier of Robbins and Assoc., Int'l, the course has already been named by "Wisconsin Golfer" as the best in Door County and one of the best in the State. The course was recently nominated for the "Best New Course In America" survey done annually by "Golf Digest".
Horseshoe Bay sits atop a 160 ft. bluff overlooking the sparkling waters of the bay of Green Bay and is carved through pine forests, apple orchards, hardwood stands, and limestone outcroppings. The course is accented by more than 30 acres of native grasses and wild flowers. It provides for a wonderful golf experience like no other.
