Boothbay Country Club renamed in 2000 opened as an 18 hole Resort facility. The course offers bent grass tees, greens and fairways as well as wall to wall irrigation. There is also paved cart paths. This is the best course in the State of Maine as far as I am concerned. This course is challenging yet fun. I didn't lose a golf ball and my wife had her best round ever. On some holes the ladies tees are 70 yards ahead of the men's a much needed feature for lady golfers. This is a must play. Also the lovely Seaside Town of Boothbay Harbor is just a mile down the road.
