Do not miss this course if you are anywhere near the area! The wide fairways make this course very playable, but there is only 3ft of intermediate rough on each side of the fairway before the 1-2ft prairie grass begins. There are also around 40-50 strategically placed "blow-out" bunkers. Just pulling up to the course gave me chills--it looks just like a field with a golf course on it! There a several windmills on the fairly flat sandhills layout and they just add to the character of the course. It truly is links-style and then greens were extremely fast. Do not miss this course! We played it in July '00 and green fees and cart were $42.
