This is a very difficult golf course. It is somewhat a links like design with island fairways surrrounded by native grasses and shrubs. It is well bunkered with 52 fairway and greenside bunkers. Twelve ponds are also included on the layout. The signature hole is the 182 yard 17th. It requires a short amount of carry over waste land to a green that is surrounded by bunkers with the wasteland lurking a yard from the putting surface in some places. This course has proven to cause trouble to even the best golfers in the state.
