I have played this course twice now and have quickly come to the conclusion that this is far and away the best public course I have ever seen. The course is in tip-top shape; the fairways are lush and the greens are just phenomenal. San Juan Oaks is a challenging yet fair test, offering numerous tee boxes for differing skill levels. Ride a cart if you want to finish with any legs left at all, however, as the layout features numerous hills, especially on the back nine. (the distance between greens and tees can be a long way to walk as well) I especially liked the fact that the holes are spread out so there is virtually no threat of a wayward shot from players on other holes. Overall, a superb course that I would recommend to anyone.
