This course has produced some of the best iron players in the local game and the par 4 's are long enough to test any player. Only one of the par 3 holes could be considered a regular par 3 at 160+ yards. The 5th hole a 237 yards par 3 with a carry over water at the 220 yard mark, playing from an elevated tee down between trees on the left and the burn on the right makes it the hardest hole on the course and possibly in the whole of Scotland. The views from around the course which lies south of the Pentland hills are stunning so don't miss this course off your itinerary! May/00
