Course Reviews

Course Name Fraserburgh Golf Club
Location Fraserburgh, Scotland
Comments from Derek J. Bond, Fraserburgh, Scotland
Located on the shoulder of Buchan, Fraserburgh is one of the most scenic natural links courses in Scotland.
This is a brilliant site, which gives Clubs similar to ourselves, a great opportunity to contact people.
Stopping at the third tee on top of Corbie Hill, one can take in a view of Fraserburgh itself, with its harbour, over the North Sea up to the fishing village of Inverallochy and inland over the Buchan plain ("Buchan" meaning cattle country) and on to Mormond Hill.
This location exposes the course to breezes from both the Moray Firth and the North Sea.
Fraserburgh is a superb challenge to all levels of golfer.
Once over Corbie Hill, some superb classic linksland awaits with all the humps, hollows, dune ridges and fine flat bottomed links that a golfer can dream of.
At the end of your round, you will find a very warm welcome from the staff and members awaiting you in the Clubhouse.
Enjoy your game - Golf is a great sport.
