Toro hills in now under new management and has been renamed Emerald Hills. Many of the fairways have been opened up slightly by removing trees which has allowed the grasses both on the greens, tee boxes and fairways to become very plush from side to side. It's turned into a beauty of a course--I've never seen it this nice since I first played it in 1986! My hat is tipped to the folks who keep this one up!! It still has all its previous hills and water hazards. Accuracy is a must! The greens can be very tricky too! I highly recommend this course as a challenge if your in the West-Central Louisiana area!!
