I played this course in November 1999. Given its location on the island of Lido, a short trip from Venice, it was a very nice parkland type course. Water comes into play on 4-5 holes as you play around and over an old fort complex. While the course isn't exceptionally long, it does demand some accuracy as many of the fairways are lined with large trees giving a nice tunnel affect. Golf in Italy isn't cheap, (this round was about $70 US), but the course was well maintained given the time of year. If you're in Venice and want to play a quick round this is a good place to do it!!
