One of Northumberlands finest

It's so evident that the Greenkeeping staff have so much pride in the product they are entrusted to present to the membership and visitors - every aspect of the course was in amazing condition for October - tee boxes, fairways, greens, bunkers...... everything was spot on. Keep up the good work - this is an example to lots of other clubs in the region.

A great James Braid gem

An excellent links course with greens to rival St Andrews. A calm day, good pace of play and friendly fellow golfers. Small clubhouse which serves local walkers as well as golfers can lead to delays in the kitchen but overall a great value for money gem.

Dunstanburgh has good course features

Found the course challenging. You have to hit the ball straight and stay on the fairview as it can be a challenge to get out of the rough. The greens were excellent and a good contest in keeping the ball on the green. A very nice course to play and the staff and facilities in the 19th hole are excellent

Nice course in great condition

The course was still in great condition for early September despite a dry summer and some difficult conditions to manage, kudos to the greens staff.. Although the course was really busy the pace of play was great, facilitated by excellent etiquette from two 4-ball groups ahead of me who both invited me (playing as a single player) to play through, keeping things moving.

Clubhouse staff were helpful and courteous . All in all a really good test of links golf on a windy day and a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

First time in Northumberland

Great course played on a steamy hot day in July. Greens are in perfect condition with plenty of slopes as you’d expect. Some cracking views and well thought out holes. I’ll definitely be back to play here again and other courses in the area.

Great find

On arrival one and a half hours early, after a long drive from north-west the heavens open up and dump at least 2" of rain.
Sat in the club house thinking we are going to get wet we asked for some food, but we were told very politely that the lunch menu didn't start for another 16 minutes. And couldn't order of it until after 12.

We waited the 16 mins then ordered food. Very nice it was. The sun then came out and the course dried up very well.
Some amazing views, great holes, excellent layout and really good greens. A+++.
