Nice looking course. Watch out for the expensive homes. Green fees run $120. Plate Glass windows $375.

It is a semi-private course owned by the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail. The course although lined, by homes in many spots is still one of the intriguing challenges in the Colorado mountains. It is also in the "banana belt" for weather and therefore has a longer season for play. The ninth hole will drive you crazy as a fairly short par 4 with a second shot that is uphill and over a pond and waterfall to a long and narrow green. The course is kept in great shape and the greens are quick and true.
