Arguably the best on P.E.I. This is a classic championship course. You know you are in for a contest at the second hole, an uphill 470 yard par four. A new 18 holes is due to open in the Summer of 1999. Date: May/99 |

Although a pleasant course and a reasonably stout test of golf, it didn't quite measure up to the rather high expectations I had for it. I thought much of it was rather pedestrian and ultimately, somewhat forgettable. I think the sister course, Dundarave, is harder, more scenic, much more memorable and hence, a better golf experience for the dollar. I'd suggest playing both and drawing your own conclusions. Perhaps if I had played Brudenell first, my opinion of it would be higher but since I didn't, I thought it paled in comparison to it's younger sibling! October/00 |
